Dashboard Help

Navigation on Virtual Regatta, as in real life, depends on many factors (wind speed and direction, variation over time, boat polars, etc.).

To support you on a daily basis, ITYC offers you a dashboard equipped with advanced features, it will allow you to view the weather parameters that your boat is going through or to obtain more in-depth information about your boat.

Thanks to the map tab, visualize at a glance the position of your opponents, compare your routings or evaluate your distance to the odds in a readable way. The graphic tab will allow you to visualize the variations of the main parameters in graphic form offering better visibility. Discover below the many possibilities offered by the ITYC dashboard below.

The ITYC extension is provided to you as is and will provide you with INDICATIONS only.

The ITYC extension is compatible with Chrome, Edge and Opera browsers. It does not work in Firefox!

The ITYC extension only works on the virtual regatta offshore game page (all languages ​​supported) and their associated iframe!

You must then extract the files from the archive to the location of your choice on your pc (remember to memorize it).

The dashboard integrated into the game page should indicate "No dashboard activated" or "No race loaded" if the dashboard tab is already launched.

At any time during page load or from the game home screen or in a race .

Launch the ITYC dashboard extension by clicking on its icon or by clicking on its name in the extension menu of your browser

The ITYC Dashboard tab opens'.

And the embed on the game tab says "No race loaded" if the player has already been detected (optional).

From the game's home screen enter a race.

If you are already in a race, change race or go back to the reception.

      Allows you to display dimension lines around the center of the map.

      Find here in graphical form the TWS, TWS, HDG, TWA, Speed ​​and Stamina at each iteration received from the server.

    • You can erase the traces by pressing the erase button at the top left.
    • You can export the data by pressing the export button in csv format.
    • The color of the chart corresponds to the sail.

    • You can create alerts on several conditions and receive a notification if this condition is crossed.

      Attention, the dashboard MUST be connected to the game with the race concerned to work.

    • You can schedule a reminder after the set number of minutes!
    • You can program a limit of HDG, or TWA, or TWS, or TWD!

    • You can configure the display as well as the behavior of the dashboard

      General options

    • Separator latitude - longitude

      Enabled: the "-" will be used as a separator between latitude and longitude.

      Disabled: the " " will be used as a separator between latitude and longitude.

    • +1 digit

      Activated: The different parameters will be displayed with 3 digits.

      Disabled: The different parameters will be displayed with 2 digits.

    • Re-use external tab

      Enabled: Attempts to reuse the existing tab for opening an external link.

      Disabled: Opens external links in a new tab.

    • Local times

      Enabled: Times are displayed with the local time zone.

      Disabled: Times are displayed in the UTC zone.

    • Send ITYC info

      Activated: Your fleet information will be transmitted to ITYC.

      Disabled: Your fleet info will not be transmitted to ITYC.

      Race Status Options

    • Boat speed display in BVMG field

      Enabled: Boat speed will be displayed in the BestVMG field.

      Disabled: Boat speed will be displayed in the BestVMG field.

      Requires receiving an iteration to be updated.

    • Display last orders

      Activated: The last orders will be displayed in an additional column.

      Disabled: Latest orders will not be displayed.

      Requires receiving an iteration to be updated.

      Map Options

    • Displaying the details of the tracks of the enemy boats

      Allows you to view opponent ship track markers and get details on mouse over.

      Requires restarting the dashboard.

      Heavily memory intensive!!!

      Fleet Options 1

    • Displaying option names in abbreviated form

      Activated: The options of the boats will be displayed in an abbreviated way, the complete definition is available on hover of the mouse

      Disabled: Boat options will be displayed in full.

      Requires receiving an iteration to be updated.

    • Cleaning up obsolete information

      Some information such as opponent boats are only available when you click on the boat (rank, Stamina, TWA lock)

      Enabled: Obsolete information will be erased after the specified time.

      Disabled: Outdated information will not be erased.

      Requires receiving an iteration to be updated.

      Fleet Options 2

    • Configuration of the display of the columns of the float table.

      You can choose to hide a column if you wish.

      Enabled: The column is displayed.

      Disabled: The column is not displayed.

    • Export polars.

      You can export all known polars from the dashboard in JSON format.
